What we keep, and why.
Propaganda is made by Pedantic Design LLC. This page says what we keep about you, in plain words. Last updated 30 October 2026.
The short version
- We keep your account, what you put into Propaganda, and what we write from it.
- We use AI models and a few trusted service providers to run the product. They only get what they need to do their job.
- We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't train our own models on your content.
What we collect
- Your account. You sign in with Google, which gives us your name, email address and profile picture, or with a code we email you, which gives us your email address. We never see a password.
- Your content. Posts, drafts, source material, images and settings. If you connect calls or chat tools, the transcripts and threads they send us. If you connect Claude, what it sends to your blog: a title, your material, images and files. We never see your Claude conversations, only what Claude sends. Published posts are public.
- How you use the app. Errors, product events and session recordings of the editor, which can include what is on screen and what you type, so we can fix what breaks and see what works.
- Your readers. Page view counts for your blog: the page, where the reader came from, their country, device type, reading time and scroll depth. No cookies, no IP addresses.
- The writing fingerprint. The text you paste is scored and dropped: we don't store it or log it. To count the free runs, we keep a scrambled form of your IP address in memory for the day, and it can't be turned back into the address.
- The waitlist. The name, email, site and note you give us. We only use them to write to you about Propaganda.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Who processes it
We rely on service providers for hosting, AI models, product analytics and email. Each one only receives what it needs to do its part, under its own terms. We keep a record of model calls to find and fix mistakes, and only our team can see it. Write to us for the current list of providers.
Who can see your content
The members of your site, our team when we need to support you or fix something, and anyone once you publish a post.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists, and backups for 30 days after that. You can delete an empty site in the app. For anything else, write to us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or a deletion. Write to privacy@propaganda.pub and a person will answer.
Changes
When this page changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
